We believe that by building capabilities of the communities and NGO’s working in far off rural areas in the use of different media, we are encouraging diverse voices reflecting highly localized issues. In the process of transferring skills into the hands of the local communities, we are empowering them to contribute to a public discourse that encourages debate and introspection by a community/society about itself, its social mores, attitudes and problems and is not dependent on any outside agency.
